SATAS & SANS APPROVED
PPR Piping Solutions for any size Project
The Polypropylene (PPR) Pipe System has a small Carbon footprint and is fully recyclable, with pipes and fittings from 20mm to 110mm and in pressure classes from 10 to 25 bars. The pipe system has been specifically designed to enable the flow of clean hot and cold potable water. Completely replacing the use of galvanized and copper pipe, as poor or aggressive water conditions are on the increase. Unlike multi-layered pipes, this mono-layered system is the most environmentally friendly product on the market. With a minimum service life of 50 years it is one of the most cost-effective systems on the market, and carries the full SATAS & SANS approval.
PPR PIPING USES
The pipe system has been specifically designed to enable the flow of gasses, chemicals, hot and cold potable or chilled water, completely replacing the use of galvanized and copper pipe, especially in poor or aggressive water conditions.
As the pipes can handle high pressures and temperatures of up to 900C, it is the approved plumbing system for hot and cold water.
The pipes are long-lasting with a minimum life expectancy of 50 years and virtually maintenance-free.
Installation is quick and easy, taking about 15 seconds to make a 20mm fusion joint that cannot leak. The fusion joins of the pipes require no poisons chemicals and glues like Flux or Solder PVC when joining.
COMPRESSED AIR LINES
TRANSPORTATION OF PAINT
WATER PURIFICATION PLANTS
HIGH ABRASION APPLICATIONS
VARIOUS CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS
THE PPR ADVANTAGE
NO RE-SELL VALUE
No theft and collateral damage of the pipe being ripped out of walls, ceiling or flooring causing water damage.
MAINTENANCE FREE SYSTEM
No leaking joints. No pinholes in the pipes
No heavy metal contamination such as Lead, Nickel, Zinc, Chromium, Tin, etc.
By-product of oil and uses a fraction of the energy needed to mine and process copper pipes and fittings
SAFE TO INSTALL
No open flames, gasses and toxic chemicals needed to install
PP-r is a very poor conductor of heat so the heat is retained in the water. The R - value of the pipe is 0.22 and copper is 10x less
Needs no or less lagging to retain the same amount of heat as lagged copper installations hence the product has become the preferred material used by heat pump installers and energy saving companies.
SATAS & SANS APPROVED
PPR Piping you can trust, full SATAS & SANS approval
The Pipe System is manufactured from PP-Random Co-Polymer raw material. It meets and exceeds the German and European health standards. The manufacturing facility caries ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 Certification. With International ISO/SANS 15874: 2004 Parts 2,3 and 5, which makes it compliant to South African National Building Requirements.
PPR Piping with a small Carbon footprint and fully recyclable
There is much evidence to show that Plastic Pipe systems are far more environmentally friendly than their traditional metal counterparts. This product is a by-product of oil and it uses a fraction of the energy needed to mine copper, as well as the manufacturing process of copper tubing and fittings and leaves a significant smaller carbon footprint.
Extended service life and low maintenance
The PPR Pipe system is one of the most cost-effective systems on the market, and this is measured by calculating direct installation cost and long-term maintenance. You will save money because there is no corrosion, no scale build-up. The system doesn’t require constant maintenance, and any repairs or alterations can be done in a cost-effective way.
